Architecture

ARCHIMED specializes in healthcare architecture design and in public utility buildings. The President and Chief Designer PhD Arch. Michał Grzymała-Kazłowski as the only person in Poland, has graduated from the studies in hospital design at KU Leuven in Belgium with the Master of Engineering in the Hospital Design degree which confirms the highest preparation for the design of medical facilities. Our team consists of 18 architects including 2 with unlimited architectural license.

We cooperate continuously with civil and tech-engineering companies experienced in healthcare design. Working in trusted team of designers let us deliver every project in wished date and in previous defined budget.

Medicine

In recent years we have been working on various projects of hospitals, medical clinics, radiology centres, nursing homes and other medical buildings. We know, the designing of the hospital is a responsible task, which has influence on people’s health and patient’s life. Now the team focuses on medical technology, programming and functional optimization. We offer and guarantee full-service design starting from pre-design analyses and masterplan, by helping in budget formulation, obtaining the building permit, preparing required final project and ending on gaining using permit. We can optimize functional, financial and other aspects of the hospital and clinic projects. In addition to this we offer also an inspection of medical building designed by other architectural office. Finally, we can help the investor in choosing the best localization for new investment. In the our design we create a complex virtual 3d model of the building in BIM technology using Graphisoft-ArchiCAD software.

The design and implementation

Our studio creates designs for medical interiors accurately reproducing all equipment and technology. We act comprehensively and guarantee service in the full range of design, construction and investment – starting with the development of initial concepts and analysis, helping to assess the profitability of the investment, ending with detailed designs of medical technology closely coordinated with interior designs. We work using the BIM Archicad CAD- method. This approach guarantees full control over every stage of the investment process.

LEAN DESIGN process

When designing healthcare facilities, ARCHIMED is guided by knowledge, good practice and internationally recognized principles for creating good and sustainable therapeutic space. An optimal building is created through the Lean Design process (designing a cost-effective building) in cooperation with the Investor and future users. All phases of the project – from the pre-design analysis, through Masterplan, to the detailed design, which is the basis for the construction of the building – are successive approximations comprehensively consulted with the participants in the process and with Sanitary and Fire Protection experts.
